Changing Time - A Poem

Image

Her husband died when she was to give birth to her third child. Jamir was her husband. He died of mulnutrition. His death was a bolt from the blue for her. Rain - A Poem

Image
Rain   All waited for you, so long  Appealed to God for you to come!  To get relief from this atmosphere  Which is too warm.  You came,  But for a brief time,  It was not our expectation,  You just increased the frustration!   But there is one relief,  You left your companion, the wind  Which with its valour  Continuously fighting with warm atmosphere . The warmth has lost it's intensity We hail you,  For bringing cold wind with thee! You remained for a short period  But gave the relief as appealed!  Though late you came - not expected  You did your work, as expected!
