  Social Service  It is our duty  To practise charity,  To be in the society.  The more we give  The more we get,  It is the universal truth  Never forget! Never forget!  we need to add value  To our existence,  Only then we can get  Much much more happiness.  The only way is to give  To help others to survive, So keep a portion of your earning  To help a fellow human-being.   See how much money  You waste, In empty idol worship!  God will be much happy  If you help your society!  What will be the use of religion  If your own local people  Remain hungry and suffering from frustration!  First help them to learn,  Then if you can  Give them other assistance  You will find great inner happiness  Worthy will be your existence.  नया शुरुआत   तय कियाहूं, करूंगा नया शुरुआत  नया जगह, नया लोग  नया सुबह और रात, नया तरीका से पुराना जैसा  रहनेका - एक नयाशुरुआत। ना होगा वहां कोई अपने  जिससे याद आएगा पुराना बात, ना रहेगा कोई नफरत मन में  जो रहता है हर वक्त मेरे साथ।   ना रहना इस जगह में मुझे  जहां रहता है बुड़ा लोग,  काम ना करके जिसका काम होता है  दूसरोंको अच्छा रख। तय किया हूं अब जाऊंगा दूर  नया एक जगह,  जहां मिलेगा लोग नए  पर, दिल का रिश्ता किसी से नहीं,  रहूंगा अपना मर्जी से  कोई पुराना याद नहीं। पड़िए अगला कविता (मतदान) पड़िए पिछला कविता (परिणाम)

  বিদ্যাসাগর বাংলার ভূমিতে নিয়েছিলেন জন্ম  সকলে আমরা চিনি তাকে  বিদ্যাসাগর নামেতে!  ছোট্ট থেকেই ছিলেন মেধাবী  গর্ব আমাদের, তিনি বঙ্গবাসী।  পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার বীরসিংহ গ্রামেতে  জন্ম নিয়েছিলেন তিনি, গোড়া ব্রাহ্মণ পরিবারেতে,  তবে তিনি ছিলেন না বিশ্বাসী ঈশ্বরে  মন তার সর্বদা, নিবেদিত পড়াশোনাতে,  পড়াশোনার জোড়েই তিনি হয়েছিলেন মহান পারেনি দারিদ্রতা তাকে হার মানাতে! যে কলেজে পড়াশোনা করেছিলেন  সেই কলেজেরই তিনি অধ্যাপক হয়েছিলেন।  সমাজ সংস্কারেও তার অদম্য দান  নারী কল্যাণ, সমাজ সংস্কার, শিক্ষা প্রসার  ইত্যাদিতে আছে তার বহু অবদান।  পড়াশোনার দৌলতেই তিনি হয়েছিলেন উত্তম পুরুষ  রবীন্দ্রনাথ বলেছেন, বিদ্যাসাগর ছিলেন  প্রকৃত অর্থেই মানুষ!  মানব সমাজের উন্নতিই ছিল তার একমাত্র লক্ষ্য  আজকের এই অনুষ্ঠান তারই সাক্ষ্য!   পড়ুন পরবর্তী কবিতা (দোকানদার) পড়ুন পূর্ববর্তী কবিতা (প্রায়শ্চিত্ত)

  Greed     "Money matters", said Balakrishnan. Balakrishnan was a farmer who lived in Pattali village. The village comprised of many castes, like tikku, pela, nima, saga etc. Among them tikku and pela were the dominant castes. The Tikkus liked the politics. Almost all the political posts were held by them. On the other hand, pelas were the business-class. They disliked politics as it involved corrupt practices. But in reality, they did not get opportunity to enter politics. The nimas and sagas were minority classes and were mainly involved in wage-works.           Balakrishnan belonged to the saga caste, Tirumala belonged to nima, while Nata and Bati belonged to tikku and pela castes respectively. Bati was a businessman. He would run a large store-business. Having familiar with the business techniques from childhood, Bati knew how to make profit in business. His income grew day by day. But as his business grew so also his greed.    ...

  Something Special   I felt dizzy,  I felt frustrated,  I did not like the happenings,  Suddenly it click to my mind  There is something special in me!  My mind works firster and better  It can solve complex matter,  I need to give it time  I have potential to achieve great fame!   I made busy schedule  No time to thinking,  Now, I have to connect my mind and soul  To become a super-being.  My mind has special power  But it needs time to calm  Then I can be clear of the idea That will help me to climb  To that position  Which is my dream, my ambition! I ignored smart work  And believed in hard-work,  So my progress was little  Today I realised that.  My mind has special power  If I can use its potential  I can attain that special  Which can give me something  And I will be a super-being.   परिणाम   कर लिया बहुत कुकर्म  सहेलियां, सबको जितना सहना था,  अब होगा फैसला  तैयार हो जाओ भुगतने परिणाम।   लूट तूने बहुत  भगवान को भी नहीं छोड़ा,  पाप का घर तेरा भर गया है  आ गया है समय परिणाम भुगतने का।   भूल गयाथा तू इतिहास को  हर काम का कीमत चुकाना पड़ता है, अब क्या करोगे जान के  यह तो अब तेरा साथ होना है। समयका चक्का ऐसा ही होता है  शक्तिशाली शक्तिहीन हो जाता है,  और, लाचार महाबलशाली,  इसलिए याद रखो इस बात को  शक्तिको अच्छे काम में लगाना,  और बुड़ा काम से दूर रहना,  वरना समय कभी रुकता नहीं  परिणाम जरूर होगा भुगतना। पड़िए अगला कविता (नया शुरुआत) पड़िए पिछला कविता (खामोशी)

  প্রায়শ্চিত্ত কোথায় আছে,  'পাপ নিজের বাপকে ছাড়ে না'!  অন্যভাবে বলা যায়,  খারাপ কাজ যে করে  তার প্রায়শ্চিত্ত তাকে করতে হয়।  একটু সময় লাগে,  কখনো বা কয়েক বছর  কিন্তু.......  অন্যায় কাজের ফল বারোটা বাজায় জীবনের! অনেক সময় আমরা ভাবি  দিব্বি ভালো আছি খারাপ কাজ করে,  কিন্তু একটু খোঁজ নিলেই বুঝতে পারি  প্রায়শ্চিত্ত শুরু হয়ে গেছে জীবনে!  তাই, বছরের চমকে প্রভাবিত হওনা,  নিজের সঠিক পথ বদলে ফেলো না,  মনে রেখো  একশোর মধ্যে এক হওয়া সহজ যত,  একশো কোটির মধ্যে এক হওয়া কঠিন তত!  কিন্তু, এই কঠিন কাজে একরকম শান্তি আছে  বুঝবে তুমি  যখন পৌঁছবে জীবনের শেষে!  নয়তো অপেক্ষায় আছে তোমার জন্য  এ জীবনে‌ শুধুই প্রায়শ্চিত্ত! পড়ুন পরবর্তী কবিতা (বিদ্যাসাগর) পড়ুন পূর্ববর্তী কবিতা (নিয়ম)

  Rain Halt Food Halt          "The ground-water level has decreased", said Pritam. Pritam was a farmer. He lived in the village Panishal. His family consisted of his old parents, his wife and three kids. Cultivation was the main source of his livelihood. Pritam had two bighas arable land. His income was not much, but it provided them abundance to eat. Occasionally he used to work in others' land also. That added to his income. Pritam was living happily with his family as their demands were less. They, like other neighbours, just wanted two meals a day. That was all. So, they were Happy.            Days passed. Population increased. The surrounding gardens of his village were wiped off to meet the increasing demand and the material greed of the people. There was a large tree in the temple of his village. That too was felled for its wood. Pritam saw his village increasing in size year by year. His village which had 50 families, ...

  Ignorance   Are you surrounded by rascals?  Are you losing patience? Has life become unbearable? Then practise ignorance!  It will boost your patience  Develop your mental peace,  You will get surprised  To know the power of ignorance!   If you bring out the brute  Lying a sleeping in you,  Such devastation will be wrought  Coming days will be ruined by you.  If you turn your head into a mountain,  If you turn yourself into iron, Then they can use a hammer or a furnace  To hold your progression,  But ignorance will turn you deef You will be come so tough,  There will be no change in you  Let their language be so rough! Practise ignorance, imbibe it; It will make you happy  How bad may be your society.
